Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Blackbow Group LLC (“Blackbow Group”, “we”, “us”) uses cookies on blackbowgroup.llc. It applies to visitors located anywhere in the world, including the United States, the United Kingdom, and the European Economic Area.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. We use a single strictly necessary first-party cookie to remember your consent choice so that we can honour it on subsequent visits without asking again. We do not run analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking until you consent.
Categories of cookies
We group cookies into the categories below. Today this site only uses a cookie in the “Strictly Necessary” category. The other categories are listed so that, if we ever introduce them, the meaning of your consent choice is clear in advance.
| Category | Purpose | Currently in use? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly Necessary | Required for the site to function and to record your cookie choice. These are not gated by consent because the site cannot operate or honour your choice without them. | Yes |
| Preferences | Remembering non-essential UI choices you have made, beyond the cookie consent record itself. | No |
| Analytics | Aggregate usage measurement (for example, page views and basic engagement) to understand how the site is used and improve it. | No |
| Marketing | Advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking. We do not currently run any marketing technology on this site. | No |
Specific items we set today
-
blackbow_cookie_consent_v1— a first-party cookie. Records your decision (Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or a custom mix from the preferences panel), the per-category toggles, and the timestamp. Strictly Necessary category. Set withSameSite=Lax,Secureon HTTPS, scoped to the site, and retained for up to one year or until you clear it from your browser or use the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer to change it. Browser web storage APIs (localStorage, sessionStorage, indexedDB) are not used for this record.
Your choices
When you first visit the site, a banner offers three options: Accept All, Reject Non-Essential, or Preferences. The Preferences option opens a panel where you can toggle each non-essential category — Preferences, Analytics, and Marketing — independently. Strictly Necessary cookies are always on because the site cannot operate or remember your choice without them. Until you make a selection, no preferences, analytics, or marketing cookies are set and no such scripts are loaded.
You can change your choice at any time:
You can also clear site data through your browser settings, which will remove the consent record and cause the banner to reappear on your next visit. Most browsers allow you to refuse cookies entirely or to delete them; doing so may affect basic functionality on other websites you visit.
Legal basis
For visitors in the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area, we rely on your consent under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and the EU ePrivacy Directive (as transposed nationally) for any non-essential cookies. Necessary cookies are placed on the basis of legitimate interest in operating the site and recording your consent choice. For visitors in the United States, we follow comparable principles, including transparency and an opt-out for non-essential tracking, consistent with applicable state privacy laws.
Retention and updates
The consent record described above is retained in your browser until you change it or clear your site data. We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the technologies we use, to legal requirements, or to our practices. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date below, and where required by law, we will request a fresh consent.
Third parties
This site loads web fonts from Google Fonts so that pages render with the brand typography. Google Fonts may receive your IP address as part of normal request handling, but does not use it to set advertising or tracking cookies in this configuration. We do not currently embed analytics, advertising, social, or video providers on this site.
